OUR FIBRES
Where the loom meets the landscape. We work exclusively with heirloom materials that breathe, age, and endure. Hand-spun Kala cotton, raw Indian silk, and sacred highland wools form the foundation of our work—a tactile archive of the world’s most enduring artisanal traditions.
CHAMULA - CHIAPAS - MEXICO
SHEEP WOOL
Harvested in the mist-covered peaks of the Chiapas Highlands, Chamula wool is a testament to centuries of sacred tradition. Dense, durable, and naturally insulating, it is hand-spun by master artisans whose rhythmic movements on the backstrap loom mirror the ancient pulse of the mountains. A fiber rooted in the earth, crafted to endure.
OAXACA - MEXICO
COYUCHI COTTON
Native to the valleys of Southern Mexico, Coyucho cotton is a naturally pigmented heirloom fiber, grown in shades of deep tobacco and golden ochre. Untouched by synthetic dyes, it represents the purest form of ancestral alchemy. Hand-spun and loomed with sacred precision, each garment is a living, breathing connection to the earth's natural palette.
Gujarat - INDIA
DESI WOOL
Grown in the arid expanse of the Gujarat desert, Desi wool is a heritage fiber of profound resilience. Hand-spun and woven on ancestral looms, it offers a raw, breathable warmth, a tactile reflection of the rugged landscape and the enduring rhythm of the nomadic hand.
INDIA
RAW SILK
Harvested with reverence, Indian raw silk retains the natural sericin of the cocoon, giving it a unique, structural handle and a muted, earthy luster. Unlike processed silk, this "wild" fiber is prized for its organic irregularities and breathable warmth. It is a tactile bridge between the untamed forest and the refined silhouette, a luxury that feels as raw as the earth itself.
KUTCH DESERT - INDIA
KALA COTTON
Grown in the harsh, sun-drenched landscape of Gujarat, Kala Cotton is an ancient, rain-fed species of organic cotton. Known for its distinct, raw texture and exceptional durability, it is a fiber that requires no irrigation or pesticides—thriving solely on the wisdom of the earth. Hand-spun and loom-woven, each thread carries the untamed spirit of the desert into a contemporary silhouette.
LADAKH - INDIA
YAK WOOL
Sourced from the vast, frozen plateaus of the Himalayas, Yak wool is a rare and noble fibre. Shed naturally by nomadic herds during the spring molt, this "under-down" is remarkably fine, offering a warmth that surpasses sheep’s wool and a softness that rivals cashmere. It is a breath of the high mountains dark, resilient, and profoundly insulating.
